Job Responsibility/Summary

This position sells the Company’s products by using technical, organizational, and customer knowledge to influence customers and assist them in purchasing the product that best suits the customer’s needs and results in optimal revenue generation for the Company. In addition, the position provides input and participates in the marketing, market planning and technical development of products and services.

Essential Functions

  • Handle day to day business with assigned customers that include:
    • Price quotes
    • Production scheduling / purchasing of product
    • Order generation
    • Logistical arrangements
    • Account Receivable management
  • Dedicated Production Sales
    • Assist in selling all inventories produced by our dedicated facilities
  • New Customer Development
    • Establish new business for all products
    • Bring in additional business
  • New Product Development
    • Assist to establish new products for market
    • Develop Sweet Potato program
  • Marketing Co-packer Management
    • Work with assigned marketing co-packers to strategically grow business
    • Inform team members of opportunities to increase sales through our marketing co-packers

Performance Factors

  • Volume plan must be met and projected profits are realized.
  • New customers are brought in through your efforts
  • Dedicated production is sold at maximum price
  • New products are developed and sold into market place
  • Co-packers recognize the value of working with Wada Farms and desire to do more
  • Accounts receivables are maintained within targeted parameters
